N64 game console….. on my mac!

Call me stuck in the past but I will never get over the N64. Sure it might not have had the best graphics or most powerful processor, but the gaming console had games that you wanted to play again and again just because they were so well made. So today I was surfing the net thinking about one of the deeper games (Majora’s Mask) and googled it on a whim. Eventually one thing led to another and I discovered that some wonderfully bright person had created an emulator for the N64. I couldn’t believe it. Would I actually be able to play my favorite games without hauling around a bulky console and controllers with me? Sixtyforce worked wonderfully. I quickly downloaded a copy of Majora’s Mask (Which I found much easier than I was expecting in under two minutes) and fired the baby up. Instantly I was greeted by the tunes that are Zelda’s trademark. I briefly paused the game after several minutes of gaming to scribble this down. Now I’m off to continue. By the way I just thought about it, this is so convenient since I only have to minimize a window to return to whatever I was working on before I started gaming. Will definitely be using this in college……wonder if professors mind having Mario played in their class? Just joking :P
