We Feel Fine
Found this neat site ( wefeelfine.org ) the other day when I was looking at where my blogs views came from. Apparently this bright person came up with the idea to make a huge collage of internet feelings. Basically he created a web crawler that searches through sites and blogs for the words “I feel”. Whenever this phrase is found it looks for words like “Love” “Hate” “Cool” “Awesome” “Sad” and other adjectives/adverbs. Once these are discovered it grabs the sentence or two containing them and any picture that is near them. A ton of these are then put into a rather interesting interface that is quite fun to play with (Hehe I like poking the dots). I’d recommend taking a look at it, the squares have pictures and quote while circles are just quotes. Oh and by the way at least a fifth of the ones I glanced at seemed sort of emo……. but the whole idea is very cool. We Feel Fine
